Ron Paul Losers

I expect vitriolic comments and the same old tiresome arguments for their dogged determination to champion their candidate who lost.

I like Ron Paul. He has the courage to say what he truly means. That is rare in politics these days. Those who pander to causes and voters have little to brag about except their lack of principles. I agree with Paul about the financial mess we’re in, the gold standard, and auditing the Fed. I do not agree with his foreign policy positions.

We live in a historic time in our country placing us on the threshold of choosing liberty or tyranny. There are no other choices and that is where the staunch Ron Paul supporters lose. We only have two real choices in November to make that choice. I’m in the same position. My candidate didn’t win.

Earlier today I saw the same old tired attitudes and excuses. One commenter on Facebook used Bill Maher, of all people, for his argument not to see “2016: Obama’s America.” He gave Maher’s explanation of why he wouldn’t see it. That’s your frame of reference? Bill Maher? He wouldn’t even avail himself of the long researched information presented chronologically in the movie concerning our present President’s background. Bill Maher was good enough for him. It makes you wonder how radical some Paul supporters have become.

What happened at the “good old boy” GOP convention was an outrage. The rules change and how it was handled was ghastly. Boehner and Sununu have lost all credibility with many Republicans. Mine was gone years ago. Many will leave the party because of it and even more will actively support and work for a NEW political party that upholds our Constitution as written by our Founding Fathers. I advocate a new party AFTER the election. The “chicken-neck” Republicans who have dined at the trough for generations in Washington D.C. must go or be replaced. The GOP will implode when conservatives and libertarians flee the party. Many are dissenting now. Read “Pavlov’s Republicans.”

The dilemma for the Ron Paul supporters is:

1. Do I continue to support Paul in this election knowing I can’t win and let tyranny reign?

2. Do I take my ball and go home, not vote at all, and support tyranny?

3. Do I stamp my feet, vote for Obama and give him power by fiat and support tyranny?

4. Do I use the facade of  “principles” as my excuse not to TRY and save this nation for our children, grandchildren and future generation? Or, at least give them the chance to fight for liberty should I fail at this juncture?

5. Have I REALLY thought about what it means to have Obama for another four years? With Obama’s track record would I even continue to have freedom to speak of Mr. Paul’s point of view?

6. OR, do I take a deep breath, hold my nose, vote for the only other choice, work to get Constitutionalists in the Senate and House, and work like my life depended on it, (if your senior citizen with Medicare it literally does) then hold the new administrations feet to the fire?

An implacable position makes Paul supporters losers. Why you ask? They will lose when they choose to stay at home or write in their candidate’s name making the CHANCE for freedom regained, lost. The man they so admire is an older gentleman. His life span, in all probability, is not much longer; much like mine. Their hero will no longer be with them. The idol they so admire will be gone. Now the rumor is the Paul supporters will try and suppress the vote for Romney. I can think of no better way to leave a legacy of denigration for a fine man than to demolish the chance at saving our children’s future. They will lose on all sides. They will lose him, their freedom and they will help to denigrate Mr. Paul’s legacy.

Yes, I agree with the Ron Paul supporters and Mark Levin that we have lost our freedoms. Will we have a chance, JUST THE CHANCE, to regain them under Barack Obama? The answer is a resounding NO! The recent detainment of a Facebook user, former marine Brandon Raub, without warrant or arrest, taken to a psychiatric facility until the Rutherford Institute stepped in as his legal counsel, is one indication that your freedoms are one electoral vote away from you.

The REAL questions is:

Do I give away the CHANCE to turn it around so I can continue to work for the things Congressman Ron Paul espoused or do I hand it to a despot willing to take even your freedom to voice Mr. Paul’s positions away? That’s the question. A CHANCE to redeem our freedom or NO chance at all and irrecuperable tyranny.

Like Mark Levin said, if the GOP doesn’t listen, we won’t have to do anything; it will implode. Levin’s audio is what changed my mind.

That’s right. Surprise, surprise I held the same position, however, the logic with which Mr. Levin states his position turned me 180 degrees. I beg good citizens who support Ron Paul not to give up the CHANCE.

TIME TO APPLY KING SOLOMON’S WISDOM – 1Kings 3:16-28

One of our most well known Biblical stories is that of King Solomon’s judgement on the two women who both claimed to be the real mother of one child. The women lived in the same house and both had baby sons but one had accidentally suffocated her own son while sleeping and then switched the two boys claiming the living child was hers.

After hearing the women present their cases as to who was indeed the mother he applied a strategy to test a mother’s love by threatening to split the baby in half, offering one half to each woman. Upon hearing this terrible verdict, the boy’s true mother cried out, “Please, My Lord, give her the live child—do not kill him!” However, the false mother exclaimed, “It shall be neither mine nor yours—divide it!” It was at that moment that King Solomon was certain who the real mother was. The true mother’s instincts were to protect her child at any cost, even to giving up her son.

I and my fellow Patriots are equally as prepared to give the oval office to the “other” candidate rather than watch our beloved country be split in two and die. We don’t want two halves of a dead country – we want one whole and healthy country because we love her. The Pretenders’ to Patriotism will allow the country to be divided and will even go so far as to demand it be divided. These are not real Patriots.

If we apply this wise King’s wisdom to determine who the real Patriots are in this country we will have an easy task. Patriots will not take a pass on this November election nor will they write-in their personal choice.  The Patriots will show up at the polls and vote for the nominee – not our personal choice who has no chance of winning. We will do this to save the life of our country, to keep her whole.

What prevents the Pretenders’ from seeing the true picture is their willful insistence to ignore a reality that does not coincide with their will. Like the willful, jealous woman in King Solomon’s time they only pretend to be the real Patriots, they insist that it is better to split the country so no one wins and allow the country to die.  They will bring calamity upon themselves, the rest of the country and indeed the world without any regard to the end result.

Whatever it takes to save this Republic the true Patriots’ will do. Likewise, the Patriotic candidates will step aside and rally for the nominee. They will call on their supporters to do the same especially when it is apparent that without that unification they put their country, which they claim to love, in grave peril.

Let us hope that these citizens will, in the end, make the right decision, the Patriotic decision, the wise decision. In this way we will know who the real Patriots are and who are just pretenders who offer only a false claim.

Jewish interpretation

According to the Midrash, the two women were sisters-in-law, both of whom had borne sons, and whose husbands had died. The baby was actually the lying woman’s nephew. Therefore, when Solomon suggested that the infant be split in half, the lying woman, jealous of her nephew and sister-in-law, agreed. Thus was Solomon able to know who the real mother was.

PAVLOV’S REPUBLICANS

Full Disclosure: I expect more from those who call themselves Republicans. I don’t find it amusing that the Democrats crow about their own lack of morality as if that were something worth achieving. They have taken the base intellect approach to life. In short, they are lazy, self-serving with a complete lack of self-control on a scale that has tipped the charts.

Pavlov discovered that dogs’ not only salivated at the sight and smell of food, but that the salivating reflex was a learned response not an automatic physiological process. Between the years 1997 and 2000, more than 220 articles appearing in scientific journals cited Pavlov’s early research on classical conditioning. Perhaps our Pavlov Republicans should read some of this research.

The dogs’ in Pavlov’s experiments quickly associated just the scientists’ white lab coats with food, not who was wearing the lab coats. At merely the sight of the white lab coats their salivating commenced. With this insight Pavlov tested the steady tick, tick of the  metronome following that up with food. It wasn’t long before the dogs began salivating at the neutral stimulus, the steady tick of the metronome, which provoked the conditioned response, salivation. The key point being that the response was conditioned, or learned. This type of behavioral psychology is what Cloward & Piven, Saul Alinsky and every Communist dictator has applied to manipulate human beings throughout history. This does not suit the American psyche or experience.

Our Pavlov Republicans’ not only have been trained but they have lost their cognitive abilities in the process. They are blind with the need to be accepted by the opposition. The human mind being far more complex than the average dog, having many more thought processes to go through makes me wonder if the Pavlov Republicans’ can change their habits in time to save the Republic. I wonder too if it has even occurred to them that this is a worthy ambition.

Before the Democrats’ and their lapdog media even start the tick, tick of the metronome the conditioned GOP hits the apology tour in full force. They run down the halls and head for the microphones. Glory be!! a social conservative has spoken, (metronome anyone?). Please forgive us for not tackling this person to the ground before they could open their mouth, (conditioned response anyone?).

If the Pavlov Republicans’ could only control their conditioned response the Democrats would have time to run for their own microphones and make their usual buffoonish statements thereby giving the country a much needed laugh and destroying their own credibility. But no, can’t have that. The Pavlov Republicans’ will save the opposition from themselves all too often. Many of these “be nice” enablers are on committees overseeing our military. Need I say more on that subject?

Heaven help the social conservative from the guilt laden, finger-shaking GOP. How many of their fellow party members have felt the sting of the Pavlov Republicans? How can a population who is damn tired of an over reaching, cost-ineffective government have any trust in leaders who only hear what they’ve been conditioned to hear and only respond as they’ve been conditioned to respond. With Republicans like these who needs Democrats? Come to think of it, too many Pavlov Republicans’ won’t even recognize the enemies of our country for fear of being called some sort of hyphenated “phobic”.  Stockholm Syndrome? But I digress.

If I were a Democrat politician right now I’d feel quite smug with the Pavlovian responses to conservative ideas from the very party and their talking heads who claims to embody conservatism.  All the Democrats and their operatives have to do is wait for the conditioned response from the Republican party leaders each time the conservative voice dares to speak out. Whether that voice be from their fellow Republican leaders or the American citizens it makes no difference. Apologize nationally or have a private meeting with the opposition to disavow any connection to social conservatism. There, everything is better now.

The GOP has been as adept at ignoring and marginalizing the people as have the Progressives. One might ascertain there is little difference between the parties however, there is a difference, and it’s not always on ideology, it’s trainability. Never mind that the Democrat/Progressive party never has one decent or moral idea in their collective spinning heads – it can’t be said that they will back down and cower in the corner no matter how idiotic and/or damaging the demands of their fellow Democrats or constituents.

How the voice of reason became something to be ashamed of and scorned is for those with an educated understanding of the human mind to explain. All I know is this; what I see and hear it isn’t something I want to rally around.

That dogs can be conditioned in such a way is not shocking however, that humans’ will allow themselves to be conditioned in this way is shocking. At the very least the dogs’ in Pavlov’s experiments received a satisfying result from their response. So, it would seem that the GOP is also satisfied with the response they get from the Democrat/Progressives. What other explanation clarifies the neutral stimulus i.e., a social conservative has spoken, with the conditioned response of the Pavlov Republicans and their hysterical circular firing squad. Wait!! It’s “Ready, Aim, Fire” NOT “Ready, Fire, Aim!!!” Too late.

It works every time a social conservative speaks. The Pavlov Republicans’ go full steam ahead and begin salivating at the mere suggestion that they can regain favor with their golf buddies and cocktail hour comrades by simply shouting down the voice of “social conservatism”. Never mind that they leave their constituents with a bad taste in their mouth, demonstrate that they can only function as programmed and can be relied upon to turn viciously against their own. To recognize that error they would have to be smarter than the family dog and so far the Pavlov Republicans have not shown any indication that they are mentally superior in that area.

If our Republic stands a chance to return to our founding principles we simply cannot have our government filled with Pavlov’s dogs. Vote and vote wisely. Discern. Live free and think free. It’s the free men, and women, who built this country and it’s the free men and women who will keep her secure. It’s the citizenry that is familiar with our real history.  The words’ spoken in Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address should instill a sense of honor & duty in anyone who can read.  This is OUR government.

The Gettysburg Address: http://showcase.netins.net/web/creative/lincoln/speeches/gettysburg.htm

This Constitutional Republic is no longer an idea, it’s a reality that, once again, needs defending maybe even a re-founding. History proves this Constitutional Republic is worth whatever it takes to defend Her.  We are, right now, making history. We are the people future historians will write about, the people our descendants will read about. What story will the historians document? Will it be a victory over tyranny, as our forefathers’ gave us, or tyranny victorious over freedom?  Will historians’ again be able to write about courage, valor, sincerity, self-reliance & noble deeds for a noble cause?  Or will this time in our history be filled with details of hypocrisy, self-service and a government “occupied” with Pavlov Politicians who placed their own fame, futures & fortunes before their country and their fellow man?

I, ME and MYSELF

Since the formal announcement on August 11, 2012 of Mitt Romney’s choice for VP, Paul Ryan, the I, Me & Myself crowd has been out in full, uncontrollable force. Unable to control their self-importance they have come out into, what I see as, three classifications;

  1. The clearly left leaning socialist worshipers (wanting only to do what they do best, mock),
  2. The self-professed Christians (who are practicing cafeteria faith),
  3. The heretofore rational thinkers (who are rational until they can’t be rational anymore).

The first group is no surprise, in terms of their rhetoric, however the force with which they hit the social sites as soon as Paul Ryan’s name was confirmed was entirely, uncontrollably, chaotic even for these terminal blatherers.

The second group have discarded the most important tenant of faith by insisting that their understanding is superior to God’s grasp of any given situation.  As a Christian myself I know this is something that must be resisted daily if we are to truly put our trust in God. Only practicing that part of our faith will enable us to experience the manifestation of peace in our hearts.

The third group has blown their cover of rationality by throwing rationale out the window with their inability to remain rational when facing challenges to their own preconceived conclusions.

All these groups have taken to the social sites to espouse how unnerved they are not only with the Ryan choice, by a candidate they’re not fond of to begin with, but with the fact that their favorite candidate is now hopelessly off their wish list. For the Sunshine Patriots the Republican Convention is not going to be their “I told you so” moment when their candidate of choice becomes the nominee defying all odds.  For the progressives’ it’s clear their false god is not easily sailing into a second term.

Well, too bad and so sad, for all three groups, but facts are facts and none of these groups has shown even the slightest comprehension of reality vs wishful thinking.  The simple explanation for this is their inability to get out of their own way. This is expected from the left but certainly not from those who profess they are Christians, even in the face of adversity, or those who profess a willingness to embrace rational thought no matter the events.

The sorry state of these people would be of little concern but for the importance of this election season. When I read comments that show an inability or unwillingness to put the country before I, Me & Myself then I cringe at the knowledge that this oversimplified thought, the self-centeredness, the immaturity that gave us Obama to begin with is still alive and thriving.

Regardless of the facts, regardless of the hardships, regardless of the enemy at the gate, these people are still hopelessly ensnared in the worship of I, Me & Myself. Will those who call themselves Christians begin to practice what they preach?  Will those who practiced rational thought come back to their senses?

Unless the second and third groups do regain a semblance of self-control, rather than self-absorption, they will be the reason we will either lose this election to the enemy or it will be so close the outcome will be delayed and fraud will gain a foothold on the election results. We will witness civil unrest & lawlessness.  What a shame if the very things we have warned each other about do occur because of these infantile reactions.

Holding onto one’s self-centered set of principals and childish misery because of the choices we have ignores the big picture and it’s suicide. Those who refuse to vote for the Republican nominee out of their sense of moral superiority are condoning abortion, treason, communism, freedom to worship and the entire Bill of Rights. Never mind the destruction of our laws, as in the U.S. Constitution, along with abandoning our brave military men and women. This is neither rational nor Christian.

This is what sowing the seeds of I, Me & Myself  will yield for the self-worshipers. Unfortunately, the rest of America will also have to reap what they sow. I have no illusions that the first group are not worth giving much thought to but, the second & third groups do have hope providing they can get out of their own way in time for the all important November 2012 elections. This is the election of a lifetime and, yes, it’s more important than our petty preoccupations and self-serving human natures.

I’d like to add the link to an audio of Mark Levin who is much better at articulating the seriousness of this election and the utter futility of fighting the facts. We either continue our involvement as citizens of this Republic, with the tools we have, or we give up and hand it over to those who desire only her demise.

It’s A Matter of Trust

When trust is broken, whether it be a personal or business relationship, it is very difficult for it to be restored. Many times it is arduous work on both parties and many times impossible.

I can’t imagine the broken trust between Supreme Court Justices, Scalia, Thomas, Alito, Kennedy by Chief Justice John Roberts.  Try to place yourselves in their positions.  A man, who by all accounts, voted with them to strike down the individual mandate and perhaps the whole law, changed his vote at the last momentThe last moment.  Credible information has surfaced this is exactly what happened.  How do you trust a man or woman like that?  Do you question their integrity? Do you question their fortitude?  Does Roberts think it will be forgotten?

As a citizen, I will NEVER trust Chief Justice John Roberts again.  He stated he was a strict constructionist concerning our Constitution.  That is not true.  Either he out-and-out lied or caved under pressure.  He appears to be a political animal like the liberals on the court. This is the third disappointment given to us by Republican presidents.  John Paul Stevens was a disaster, Souter who gave away private property rights was a disaster, and now John Roberts who, for all intense and purposes, placed an IED under the Constitution is a disaster. There is no disaster relief agency or emergency services to repair the damage.  The Democrats and progressives are laughing at the GOP and their choice man who they were able to turn.

Trust is a precious commodity.  It is a pearl among relationships.  In our most difficult days, it is those we trust whom we call, or visit for counsel or comfort. Trusting in man, this man in particular, is in vain.  I believe this scripture is one we need to consider.

Psalm 146:3 (NKJV)
3 Do not put your trust in princes, Nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help.

If a man’s decisions are not thought through in the first instance, then he is unstable.  When it affects the lives of millions of people it is close to criminal.

John Roberts cannot be trusted.  I would hate listening to arguments for the sake of rendering a just opinion while sitting next to this man knowing he cannot be trusted.  This smacks of the same intellectual dishonesty of John Kerry when in his infamous words, “I actually did vote for the $87 billion before I voted against it.”

Then again we have to ask ourselves. Are we to blame for this? Maybe not directly, yet in our attitudes we are. We look to politicians, political parties, and other institutions of men to make us feel secure and that justice for those governed will prevail.  It has not been so in history and it is certainly not so in America.   We are given an admonition in the book of Jeremiah:

Jeremiah 17:5 (NKJV)
5 Thus says the LORD: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the LORD. “

Good men and women are hard to find.  Even they can slip; however, a servant of the people and this nation’s Constitution doesn’t have that luxury.  If an irreparable mistake is made, you have denied those principles you vowed to uphold and have set up a tyranny that will imprison our children forever.

We can’t trust the Republican candidates for the Supreme Court. We can’t trust you Chief Justice John Roberts.  That is now your legacy.

I truly feel for the men who will be in that court room in October.  They now know Roberts can’t be trusted.  He makes decisions like a man toss to and fro by winds and no anchor of principle to hold him. What an arduous job it will be for them here on out.

IT’S A MATTER OF TRUST.

Mitt Romney–Spender-Hypocrite

Are you an absentee voter? Please read and heed this message.

We are seeing continuous ads from “Restore our Future” Political Action Committee, backing Mitt Romney, berating Rick Santorum for votes about spending in Washington D.C. Similar attacks were used on Newt Gingrich. Romney says, Republicans have spent, borrowed, and earmarked too much and he’s the ONLY guy who hasn’t spent time in Washington. Maybe not behind a desk sir, but you have in front of their desks asking for money. He berates those who allocated money to various departments and entities from which he requested funds and lavishly spent on the Utah Olympics. Apparently Mr. Romney doesn’t remember where that money comes from.  It comes from you, me, our children, and now with out debt our great-grandchildren.

His attacks on his opponents are tantamount to watching bombing missions using agent orange. Mr. Romney you are a hypocrite! An ABC video of Romney bragging about all the money he obtained from Washington D.C. is impressively shocking, given his accusations against others. Voters you must be aware of this man and what he is willing to do to reach the Presidency. He will lie, distort, and do whatever he can to obtain his goals, prestige, and power. He is no different from who we have in the White House now. Spend it as long as it doesn’t come from your personal wallet, hey Mr. politician?

I’m sorely disappointed in the Republican establishment touting this man as a conservative, responsible, honest candidate. But wait, we’ve seen it before; so much so, I’m a registered independent. Watch this short one and half-minute video. Ask yourself, after seeing his ads denigrating his opponents, what makes you think he earns our trust?

Ohio, tomorrow is your day, I hope that this message reaches you. I believe you are hard-working people and you don’t want any nonsense. Well, folks you’re getting nonsense from Mitt Romney. In fact, every voter in every state needs to watch this video several times to see who this man really is. Next time you see an ad from Restore our Future, think HYPOCRITE. Think of THIS VIDEO and the truth of who Mr. Romney really is. Mr. Romney should be held without impunity.

This video is an example why I NEVER vote absentee ballot. I may request one to go over ballot initiatives and issues, but my votes on candidates are never recorded until just before election day and I walk my ballot to the polling place. A few years ago new information surfaced about an endorsement by a group for a senate candidate in CA. I made up fliers with that information and placed them on windshields of “value voters.” Their feedback? “If I had known that before, I would have voted differently, but I sent my ballot in.” NEVER vote absentee ballot. If you must, and need help, walk it to the polling place.

I don’t care if candidates differ on issues, but I do care if they are honest or hypocritical. Mr. Romney will NOT get my vote. GOP, listen up. We’re sick of it. I’ve become more and more convinced that conservatives, TRUE conservatives need a third-party. The Republican party has lost its moorings. I believe it’s lost and irreparably harmed.

THE SANTORUM FACTOR

Here we are on the precipice of the most important election in our history. The year 2012, the year that many of us have been longing for since 2008.  It is January 2012 and our candidate selection is down to four men. There is one in this group who has been the consistent conservative but for some reason he is also the most ignored. While the pundits will repeat how Gingrich has had a conversion (suddenly they grasp the idea of repentance) and Romney simply had to set aside his conservative values due to MA being such a liberal state, the same pundits continue to remain silent on the one candidate whose credentials are solid and whose views have not changed.

I submit that both Gingrich and Romney hold the belief that the American voter has been so traumatized by the Obama presidency that we will scramble willy-nilly to elect the first person who voices what we want to hear and we won’t bother to vet the authenticity of either the person or his claims. I further submit that this is their main tactic to win us over.

There is no argument that the flip-flopping moniker can be applied to both Gingrich & Romney equally. These two men are absolutely genius at turning a phrase and dodging a direct question. Gingrich employs the I’m outraged approach and Romney responds with his, I-know-it-all and you don’t grasp what you’re talking about grin. Somehow I don’t believe these tactics are going to withstand the smell test much longer.

ON HEALTHCARE

Romney was firmly in favor of the MA healthcare law that has resulted in significantly increased costs of healthcare in that state. I don’t care how he tries to legitimize that debacle the end product is clear.  (http://www.dispatch.com/content/stories/insight/2011/03/06/as-health-costs-soar-mass–seeks-solution.html)

Add to that this recent announcement from one of Romney’s advisors that healthcare cannot be repealed; http://ricochet.com/main-feed/Norm-Coleman-We-re-Not-Going-to-Repeal-Obamacare

We know Newt has championed universal healthcare since the early 1990s; (http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/health-care/7528-faux-conservative-newt-gingrich-defends-obamacare-mandate)

Now we are expected to trust that they have seen the light and will willingly and completely do all it takes to eradicate the yoke of Obamacare from our weary shoulders. How timely. Is this a flip or a flop?

Santorum believes in market-driven solutions. This will create competition which naturally leads to lower costs and places healthcare decisions with the individual rather than another government bureaucracy that only serves to increase our taxes and lower medial standards. http://www.ricksantorum.com/repeal-and-replace-obamacare-patient-centered-healthcare . On video at The National Constitution Center, http://fora.tv/2009/11/09/A_Conversation_on_Healthcare_with_Santorum_and_Wofford#fullprogram

ON ABORTION

In Romney’s own words; “People have had a chance to look at my record and look at what I’ve said. I believe people understand that I’m firmly pro-life. I will support justices who believe in following the Constitution and not legislating from the bench. And I believe in the sanctity of life from the very beginning until the very end.” Not so Governor, not so. http://prolifeprofiles.com/romney

As for Gingrich, Marc A. Thiessan explains his elegant pro-life flip-flops best in this Dec 19, 2011 Opinion Piece; http://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/gingrichs-abortion-contortions/2011/12/19/gIQAcYdQ4O_story.html

There is no question what Santorum’s beliefs are on the subject of abortion and the sanctity of life because he’s never changed his beliefs.

Ideas and plans can, and should, adapt as world & financial events unfold. But no idea or plan should alter our fundamental beliefs nor jeopardize our freedoms in the process. No idea or plan should remove the rights of the individual or the States which are clearly defined in our Constitution and especially the first 10 Amendments known as The Bill of Rights.

Let’s not be fooled by this showmanship, strategic sound bites and political tactics that are shaped according to what their handlers have told them is the cause du jour. Let’s listen to who is speaking in complete sentences rather than skillfully crafted answers that swing and sway to keep the questioner and listener just enough off topic to avoid an honest response.

As importantly, we need to be less afraid of an Obama re-election and more concerned with who will be taking his place.

In the 1980 presidential race between Carter and Reagan there were only two debates. It was the second debate that gave Reagan the lead. How many debates do you think Obama will allow? The Lincoln/Douglas style debates are nice rhetoric but Gingrich knows full well this will never happen.

The cat-who-ate-the-canary expression that Romney is so well known for will be no defense to his left leaning leadership and oratory when he was Governor. The similarities are too obvious. He’s a grinning moderate and Gingrich is a smooth talking globalist. Six of one, etc..

While the media continued the chant in favor of Carter’s re-election, the country was focused on who would replace him. Before the polls closed in California Carter had already given his concession speech and the country had elected the one who the pundits did not support, Reagan.

IN CONCLUSION

The country is far better informed today than we were in 1980 or in any presidential election since, so why do we have such doubt as to the outcome of this upcoming election? My feeling is we’re stunned at the damage Obama has been able to accomplish and this has retarded our logic. Let’s remember that Obama is merely the front man for a global network of wealthy, determined people who want to bring down this country. Although he is the face of this conspiracy to destroy the last free country on earth, he is not the true and only enemy.

It is my opinion, based upon the understanding of our Founding Fathers, that only citizens with a strong moral foundation can respect the Constitution and thus keep it. Only the person who understands the dignity and unique individuality of each person can appreciate what individual freedom offers. Not many will be able to resist the inevitable proposals to sell out this country for their own self-interest. We have sadly watched and suffered through a line of politicians as they veered off course, penned un-Constitutional legislation to serve their masters & changed their positions with the political winds until any moral foundation was left in decay. Discarded for all that glitters.  These deeds are done in exchange for wealth, power, position and fame all to the detriment of their own country. I don’t believe Santorum is one of those politicians.  But don’t believe me, do your own vetting – this is a Republic after all.  And remember 2010 – the pundits & media didn’t report on those races honestly either.

True Hope Lies With We The People

Difficult to not notice the frustrations of the conservative voters over the Republican party’s refusal to fully utilize the gift handed to them in 2010. Not only have most of them shrugged off the 2010 results but have even gone so far as to presume this had something to do with their own efforts. This bewildering attitude from the party that gave us the moderate John McCain. Obviously, they didn’t, and still don’t, get it.

Even so, we didn’t let that decision, or their delusion, deter us from doing all we could to make certain the 2008 election did NOT “fundamentally change America”, and we can’t stop now.

It was with tenacity, hard work and good old American ingenuity, fueled by the dignity that comes with living in a free country, that we created a landslide victory in 2010 while the GOP and RNSC continued their tired message that we the uniformed were getting in the way. We didn’t understand the intricacies of our government, the Constitution was too far beyond our limited knowledge to understand. We should just shut up, get behind their moderate picks and live with it. They know what’s best, even though most wouldn’t know the Constitution from the Communist Manifesto.

Our knowledge of how far the Democrats’ and the Republicans’ have strayed from the law of this land and just how close they are in ideology was entirely evident in 2008. If we were going to give George Bush a break for spending like a Democrat, that thought was dashed with the ’08 election season. Not only did We the People recognize the folly going on but so did several world leaders. This stubborn refusal by the Republicans’ to behave like moral thinkers, worthy of the people who put them in office, is what we’re fighting. What does a GOP endorsement mean in these times? Business as usual.

So this election season, true to form, they stubbornly hand us Romney as the next crown prince to sit in the oval office. Ouch. Here we go again with the same-old, same-old. Some politicians never learn. Romney is behaving exactly like the died-in-the-wool politician that he is, he has his GOP handlers and will do as he is told. Other contenders will be ignored during debates and maligned by their own party. Again, business as usual from the gang’s that can’t shoot straight.

A little background on the latest chosen one;

Ugh! Romney Worked with John Holdren When Implementing Cap and Trade in Massachusetts | The Lonely C

www.lonelyconservative.com

While none of us will sit home if Romney becomes the candidate, we won’t sit back and let the GOP tell us he IS the only candidate. His background needs to be looked at the way obama’s should have been looked at in 2008. Why? Because the truth is, we are living with the man/child now because the powers that be did not vet and ignored the people who did and the facts they presented. We upstaged & exposed them, they don’t like it. Too bad, they own the egg on their faces and it doesn’t wipe off.

We are not going away, we will not take our marching orders from the entrenched establishment that gave us this mess, while we slept, and which is counter to the entire conservative movement that has awakened. We can’t give up now. That is what this administration and the old guard desire so they can get back to the golf course and continue business as usual.

Let the Republicans’ take credit for the Congressional, Gubernatorial and Senatorial wins of 2010 patting themselves on the back and shouting, look what we did!! It doesn’t matter, because we know they had little to do with it – with the exception of Jim DeMint who stood his ground and took the slings & arrows along with the people.

It was, and is, We the People. 2012 will be another landslide victory as long as we continue along the proven path, tuning out the left, the trolls, the media and the D.C. Spin-Meisters. Our power is in exercising our God-given rights not government dictated rights.

Remember 2010. Don’t allow the media and the old guard the delight of causing us to grow insecure and forget the progress we’ve made while functioning as citizens of a Republic. Remind everyone when they talk about Democracy in action – it’s not Democracy in action, it’s the people following the Constitution and exercising our freedoms under the Bill of Rights. It’s allegiance to the flag and to the Republic for which it stands.

The ruling class are scared out of their wits of a united, informed American people and a united American people is exactly what they’ve got. Let them know, they are stuck with us. Keep up the good work. Fight the good fight.

Who is the real Rick Perry?

While many have been waiting for Gov. Rick Perry to toss his hat in the ring,  many are only going by his success of job growth in Texas and know nothing more.  Gov. Perry has an interesting past and has been involved in some very controversial issues in Texas. Many Texans do not approve of him.  Gov. Perry is a globalist, he is a Christian and that is wonderful but Christians have many views on how the world should be run. He speaks and presents himself well.  To vote for him on that reason alone is a mistake. Look at his record. We’ve already had charismatic votes for  Presidents and look what it got us – Kennedy, Carter, Clinton and now Obama? As conservatives we know what to do to create jobs; cut taxes and give business incentives. Many of our candidates are capable of doing what Perry did – they own or ran businesses.  Gov. Perry has given huge “incentives – millions of dollars in tax breaks” to bring Dell, Facebook,  etc. to Austin. Texas has lower taxes and is very business friendly.  But please – look at what he has supported:

For some reason a shortened link won’t bring up the correct site but please read this – in his own words.

  1. Gov. Perry is light handed on immigration (giving free instate tuition to children of illegals – Texas Dream Act), and disagrees with Gov. Brewer’s Arizona immigration law.
  2. The Texas Corridor (we lease our toll roads to Spain ) why?
  3. Our many cities (Austin one of many) are signed up for Agenda 21  – a legal land grab and deterioration of our rights/liberties, etc.
  4.  NAFTA

Gov. Rick Perry: he’s not what he appears to be.

Fair and Balanced Media and Debate Panelists?

I’ve watched debates, read articles, and seen television interviews for years. Each election it seems to reveal more and more of media bias.  It’s not just against conservatives, but in particular, conservative women. We all know the barrage on Palin. For most reasonable, honest, respectful people, the face of David Letterman became too much.  Quickly the remote control was turned to the weather channel because of the bombastic, foul language, attacks on her and her children. The arrogant elitist countenance on the man’s face was enough to make your HD flat screen melt.

Enter Michele Bachmann.   The debate in Iowa revealed a NOT so balanced and fair questioning of the only woman on stage.  Byron York, of the Washington Examine, asked a question that is NEVER asked of male candidates.  He asked “In 2006 when you were running for Congress, you described a moment in your life when your husband said you should study for a degree in tax law. You said you hated the idea.” York continued: “And then you explained, ‘But the Lord said, Be submissive. Wives, you are to be submissive to your husbands.’ As president, would you be submissive to your husband?”

Here in lies the rub. Male candidates on the stage also profess to be Christians.  It’s obvious that Mr. York NEVER checked the references to scripture of which Congresswoman Bachmann spoke.  He NEVER did his research or homework. Had he done so, continued in the same vane with the men in the debate, it would not have been as profound a offense.  Let me clarify the scripture in context to make my point:

Ephesians 5:22-25 (NASB77)
22 Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
23 For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, He Himself being the Savior of the body.
24 But as the church is subject to Christ, so also the wives ought to be to their husbands in everything.
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her;

Did Mr. York think to ask the men “Do you LOVE your wife as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for it? Are you willing to die for your wife?  Do you love your wife to the point she has NO fear in being submissive to you?  Do you think she trusts you as she would Christ?”  I think Mr. York is sexist.  I wished I could say he was the only male media person to show themselves in this way.  Alas, he is not.  NOW! Let’s clarify submissiveness:

1 Corinthians 11:3 (NASB77)
3 But I want you to understand that Christ is the head of every man, and the man is the head of a woman, and God is the head of Christ.

What was that? God the Father is the head of Christ the Son?  What?  I thought the Triune God was three persons; all equal?

Philippians 2:5-7 (NKJV)
5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,
6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,
7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.

OK God the Son is equal to God the Father. Plain enough!

Equal with God.    Being submissive is NOT less than.  It is more of a military type term of rank. Not less in personhood.  It is akin to any organization to make it run and work smoothly.  Some think that being submissive to a husband is all the man’s privileges.  Not so; it is the opposite.  It is the man’s responsibility. If he makes the wrong decisions that affect his wife, and family in a detrimental way, he answers to God the Father, and the Son.   This is not privilege.  It is a position of duty on the man to care for her and his family.  It is a daunting responsibility as was the death of Christ to secure our salvation.

Do I think media sexism abounds.  You bet I do. Byron York and the Fox News panelists have proven it so by trying to defend it.   Media elites just don’t like women candidates and they will try and undercut them every chance they can.
