Proliferators of Poverty

The names just keep adding up.  We’ve seen George Soros and Warren Buffett’s connection on the assault on the residents of Siskiyou County, CA and Grant County OR.  Big money men are behind the moves to literally bring the citizens and property owners to ruin.   We can add another name, Richard Blum. The average hard-working citizen may not be aware of the man but they are aware of his wife Senator Diane Feinstein.   You say, WHAT?  That’s right Richard Blum is on the board of directors for the Wilderness Society.  This is the same organization that fought for “roadless national forests.”  You know the ones that your taxes pay for. No surprise here! Earthjustice fought for the Wilderness Society in the action.  Earthjustice, the same radical environmental law firm funded by George Soros, is the very same that is trying to undermine the citizens of Siskiyou and Grant counties.

Richard Blum is tied to contracts given to his real estate company by the FDIC after his wife, “Di-Fi,” as some refer to her, wrote legislation to give the FDIC $25 billion in taxpayer funds to forestall home foreclosures.  I’m sure it’s just a coincidence.  Mr. Blum is a wealthy man owning a hedge fund, Blum Capital Partners, worth billions, partnering in a construction and engineering company awarded military and other government contracts.  Will Parish of, February 3, 2010, “Richard Blum: The man behind California’s “Developing Economy” asserts that impoverishing people and removing them from their land is something in which Mr. Blum is no stranger.  In this excerpt he makes a bold statement:

Just ask the people of Haiti, whose capital city now greatly resembles a war zone reduced to rubble ala Fallujah, Iraq, or Kabul, Afghanistan, not by virtue of a natural disaster per se, but because the IMF-WTO-US Treasury specialists in immiseration have forced them off their land into desperately sub-standard slum housing, often perched tenuously on the side of deforested hills and ravines. This “urban geography of mass vulnerability,” as the academic field of disaster sociology refers to it, was created by the destruction of the country’s rural agrarian economy that provided for subsistence, in an economic transformation imposed by international creditors with the constant backing of the US military.

“Was created by the destruction of the country’s rural agrarian economy.”   Any light bulbs coming on for anyone?

We have corrupt politicians and businessmen who have one thing in mind and it is NOT the environment.  It is setting up land grabs and profits for themselves.

I suggest you look at “Throw Them All Out” by Peter Schweizer.  The cover says it all.  “It throws back the curtain to show how Washington has become Franklin’s worst nightmare, thanks to: Insider trading in congress, Legal legislative graft, and Favors to crony capitalists.”  I would love to see Mr. Schweizer write a book about these four people: Feinstein, Blum, Soros, and Buffett showing their connections and their interests in bringing land confiscation and poverty to the rural people of Siskiyou and Grant Counties.

Something smells. It’s not dead fish. It’s mendacity. Remember that word in “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof?” Big daddy comes into the livingroom after a long, grueling, conversation with his dysfunctional, alcoholic son played by Paul Newman.  The realization that he is dying, the rest of the family lying to him and scrambling to place their hooks into the estate, he confronts them and says, “What’s that smell in this room? Didn’t you notice it Brick? Didn’t you notice a powerful and obnoxious odor of mendacity in this room?… There ain’t nothin’ more powerful than the odor or mendacity…You can smell it…It smells like death.”  There is a smell to corruption. Some doctors say they can smell illness when they walk into a room to see a patient.

Moral corruption has a smell to it. No perfume, facelift, couture or public relations firm can remove the fumes of mendacity called spin and moral turpitude. Only the mirror of truth will do that for a person. That nagging hound of truth who says, “you aren’t who YOU want to believe you are or want OTHERS to believe who you are.  I KNOW WHO YOU ARE.  I KNOW THE TRUTH.  YOU ARE FOUND WANTING.”  The end will not be good or pretty for those who will not look into that mirror and bend their knee to Him asking forgiveness.  My prayer is they do.

God’s description of wicked people is very disturbing.  It is not by mistake they take action.  It is planned. They cannot sleep unless they devise to hurt.

Micah 2:1 (NASB77)
1 Woe to those who scheme iniquity, Who work out evil on their beds! When morning comes, they do it, For it is in the power of their hands.

Proverbs 4:16 (NASB77)
16 For they cannot sleep unless they do evil; And they are robbed of sleep unless they make someone stumble.

  1. So true happeninghobbit. One think they keep proving is that man is NOT innately good. I’m so sick of people saying that. It’s just not true. Watch young kids play and see how well they choose the small piece of cake.

This is excellent. Indeed, we have a government that smells putrid. Mankind has changed little since Biblical times and faith is still faith and just as important today as from the beginning. True to form evil people have not changed their ways. Faith is always what they choose to ignore and attempt to extinguish from civilization. It is the stumbling block they cannot avoid and so they mock, ridicule and destroy life at every opportunity. Mankind pays for their hatred of goodness.
