Donnelly Bus

For the first time since Reagan we Californians have the incredible opportunity to place a constitutionally directed, freedom respecting candidate, Assemblyman Tim Donnelly, in the Governor’s seat of our beautiful State of California.

DO NOT allow this opportunity to be lost because you don’t believe you need to contribute dollars and personal support to his campaign.  Tim Donnelly has served, since December 2012, as a member of the California State Assembly in the 33rd District and knows first-hand the devastating effects of liberal governance. You can review his work To-Stop-the-Downward-Trend by viewing his bills and voting record here,

If you are truly concerned about the direction our State has been on under Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jerry Brown then you must do everything you can to get Tim Donnelly elected and into the Governor’s office. The Primaries are June 3, 2014. We have one more month to secure Tim’s nomination – There is NO time to dilly-dally.

Does anyone really want a 4th term of Jerry Brown? A 4th term!! Does anyone reading this really want a RINO, supported by the Old Guard GOP, to be Governor? Read about the latest GOP RINO offering here; Neel Who? and here; GOP Hopeful

We have an option this time, an opportunity to end the regressive social, environmental and economic policies of the Democrats under Jerry Brown who picked up where the weak-willed Arnold Schwarzenegger left off AND we can vote in a Constitution respecting, free-market advocate who believes in liberty and will unbridle the opportunities that this Golden State has in great abundance.

Patriot not Politician is NOT just a campaign slogan – It is an affirmation.  I’m not asking my fellow California citizens to contribute dollars and support – I’m telling you to offer dollars and support or forever hold your complaints to yourselves. Good candidates need support from good people.

If you don’t intend to financially & personally support a great candidate then stop your whining and complaining on Facebook & Twitter and to your neighbors and friends. Go home and kindly padlock yourselves inside. Allow those of us who are working to make a profound and successful difference have the time and space you are currently wasting. California Dreamin’ is for dreamers with a strong California to dream in, we need a reality check because right now an awful lot of people are only dreamin’ about getting out of here instead of dreamin’ about what they can accomplish here.

I will expect those of you who refuse to add one smidgen of support toward a positive solution to practice the following;

  • Smile broadly when taxes & fees are raised on everything from shoes to cell phones & cable TV,
  • Sing hallelujah at the top of your lungs as gasoline prices continue to soar,
  • Dance the jig when property taxes go up (this will affect renters too),
  • Worship at the altar of CARB as they shut down the trucking industry in California,
  • Party hearty with the EPA when you can’t find local produce due to Jerry Brown and his fellow Dems shutting off the water to our valley farmers,
  • Warble like a song bird as unemployment figures go through the roof due to all the above and more,
  • Croon at the font of diversity when your children are subjected to all sorts of perversions in their school class rooms and bathrooms!!

This State may not see another decent individual who would even attempt a run at the Governor’s seat for many years or most likely decades. Fact is, we in California don’t have years, much less decades, to turn our State around. Get on board with the solution – His name is Tim Donnelly and he is a Patriot not a Politician. Got it? Good. Now show your support. Together we CAN do this.

Free-Market Cat vs Socialist Cat

Odd title isn’t it. Remember that old phrase “cool cat?”  OK I’m showing my age. Our President IS a socialist cat and it’s not cool.

We’re helping a stray cat now.  She’s been here for about two weeks as we try to find the owner or a new home.  She’s earning her keep by taking care of the field mice and unfortunately some the birds we like to feed.  We think she believes it’s her job to keep the pests out.  She’d make a great companion or a ranch cat.  She’s loving, non-aggressive, and just wants security and love. She’s willing to work for her room and board.

The situation brings back memories of the two stray cats we adopted.  La Gata was in sad shape when she cried in pain at our doorstep.  Starving to death she looked as if she came from one of Hitler’s death camps.  We gave her milk and a little food.  She was so weak she could only drink or eat very little amounts, then rest.  The rule was she was not to come in the house. As weeks went by, she could go in the garage. YA right!  La Gata was looking different and we soon realized she was a he and was renamed Gato.  He lived for 16 years under the care of our family.  He recovered to be “the most beautiful cat” the groomers had ever seen. At the peak of his recovery he weighed 18 pounds.  We affectionately said he looked like Orson Wells.

As he assimilated to rules and gained more freedom in the house, he acted according to his feline instinct by marking his territory.  Straight for the wall he aimed.  I screamed and chased him out the slider to the back yard.  Gato was so traumatized he had made me angry, he quickly ran to the back fence, caught a bird, kept it in his mouth and mewed to bring it in as a gift to make amends.  I told him, “it’s a nice bird , but it’s not coming in the house.”  It’s as if he understood every word.  He quickly spit it out and cried for mercy.  I couldn’t help but laugh.  He stayed out for a while longer.  He was  a free market cat.  He needed something, went and got it on his own, and wanted to share with us in the only way he knew.  It was his bird, he worked for it, he earned it. Our second younger stray on the other hand showed her colors.

Shadow saw the bird-gift and promptly picked it up and took it around the side door of the garage and ceremoniously presented it at the kitchen door.  She was taking credit for something someone else had accomplished. She was the socialist cat. She hoped to gain from someone else’s work. Had something happened to us she may not have been able to survive on her own.  That is how it is with socialists.  They are not self-sufficient.  What’s the old saying — the best way to help a man is not to give him a fish but to teach him how to fish?

Shadow grew and matured and learned from Gato that taking care of herself was the better idea.  Gato’s affection toward Shadow taught her many things. He would care for her, defend her, and show her how things worked. Praise and gifts were more readily accepted if she won them herself.  Consequently, on several occasions she would whine outside the slider to come in, and lo-and-behold she would open her mouth and release a live butterfly.  It was something to see.  She did not hurt it, bat it or play with it, she just presented her live gift, earning her much praise.

It makes me wonder why our President was not taught to be self-sufficient and why it’s acceptable to take the fruit of other’s labor for himself and his friends. What lacked in his upbringing that makes him less of a man?

Simple, weak analogy, yes.  We don’t offer anyone a favor by simply handing them things.  A need that cannot be met because of circumstances must always be helped with generosity.

Our President says “work” should not be required of able-bodied persons collecting welfare from the citizens of this country who have worked to provide for their families.  He is what psychologists call an enabler, what political intellectuals call a socialist. He has never worked for a paycheck a day in his life or run a business.  He takes from others who have worked for it, gives it to himself and to his friends.  He buys friends with our money.  He is not one who learns. He’s the antithesis of a true American President. He is the antithesis of John F. Kennedy and the American work ethic. The new movie documentary by Gerald Molen, Oscar-winning producer of Schlinder’s list, gives a glimpse of why this man is what he is.  The movie “2016: Obama’s America” is playing now in theaters across the country.  Yesterday, it was the number one box office hit to the surprise of Hollywood.

He is the socialist cat. He’s one that doesn’t learn. He’s in the position of the Presidency because of the very people and country he hates. He has been given an opportunity. He is ungrateful. He’s a taker. He believes he’s entitled to what others have and he takes it without a blink of concern or shame. He is the socialist cat and it’s not “cool.”

A Helping Hand? Can You Help?

The economy is one of the worst of our generation.  Most of us know of hurting individuals or families.

Yesterday, I was given heartbreaking news from another friend.  Two years ago they lost their business due to the poor economy. Her 65-year-old husband found other work at a smaller wage and he is limited by ruptured discs that the Veterans administration refuses to repair. Last year their son lost their first grandchild hours after birth. They are still working through the grief.  THEN, on Friday a knock came on their door. It was the Sheriff’s office.  They were presented with papers they had NO idea was coming.  No prior notification, or warning.  Bank of America placed their home on the auction block and they were now without a home and someone else is now the new owner. Bank of America seemed to be working with them. They were making lowered payments and adding more as they could. They were scraping by paying for utilities and, believe it or not, only $200 a month for food. The roof over their head was the most important for their 18-year-old autistic daughter. They are now soon to be homeless. They’ve contacted all agencies to no avail at this time.

As a believer in the Bible I take seriously that we are to be self-sufficient if possible, help others who aren’t, and others who are temporarily in a tough time. The Thomas family has always lived by the same standard. Now they are the hurting ones. I believe this is a time to consider:

Galatians 6:2 (ASV)  Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.   The Lord himself spoke of those who act unjustly toward someone in scathing words:     Luke 11:46 (NASB77)  But He said, “Woe to you lawyers as well! For you weigh men down with burdens hard to bear, while you yourselves will not even touch the burdens with one of your fingers.

They need our help.  I pray none of those reading this are ever in their circumstances.  The Thomas family has a strong faith in the Lord. Their faith and our prayers is all that is seeing them through now. They have asked for nothing. They have always been self-sufficient; the ones helping others. However, I asked their permission to ask you for help.  They have no family of means or location to help.

Can you help them? Will you help them?  At least they can pack and store their personal belongs until they can find affordable, safe housing.  I’m not asking for much, just a little. If this circulates to good caring people, we may just help to create a mini-miracle.  Please pray about it and, if possible, use a special created PayPal link using your credit card or PayPal account to help bear their burden.  With much appreciation and prayer for blessings upon you.

THOMAS FAMILY HELP FUND          (Funds collected by Christian America Coast to Coast)

Blessing to all who can help.  If it’s impossible to financially help, please pray.

Radical Environmentalism is Heartless!

The Sacramento Bee posted an article on November 29, 2010, “California’s Poverty Grows Three Times As Fast As Population.

Christmas is coming. There will be many young people happy to have something to eat let alone the joy of new toys or clothes. Heartless, radical environmentalists can take a bow for much of the poverty and heartache in California and across the nation.

As I read the data from the Census Bureau report, I was struck by the county and school districts in poverty areas. Two of them have been hit hard by radical environmental state and federal laws and regulations. Radical environmentalism, pure and simple, is heartless. The attempt to place a smiley face on saving the earth, animals, trees, rivers, lizards, fish, frogs and owls have taken a toll on human life. Senators Boxer, Feinstein, Congress members Mike Thompson, Pelosi, and many others receiving donations from environmental groups have set the human being aside.

Two of the hardest hit counties are Fresno and Tehama. The Fresno unified school district shows a whopping 44 percent poverty rate. Fresno County is infamous for the political drought shutting water off to farmers and ranchers in the guise of saving the Delta Smelt. Senators Boxer and Feinstein are proud of placing children in food lines. In fact, Boxer stated they would make sure that plenty of food was in the food banks. Isn’t that nice? Would she like to join them? She so often comes up with pithy little sayings like that.

Tehama County’s Reed Creek school district shows a poverty rate of 43.3 percent. Tehama County is also the target of radical environmentalist. Thirty-five lawsuits against Sierra Pacific Industries by radical environmental groups, such as Battle Creek Alliance, have attempted to stop the remaining logging in the area. Environmentalists have continuously bombarded the areas with lawsuits costing time and money, not to mention placing jobs on hold.

The same tactic has been used in Plumas County, CA. Plumas was once one of the richest counties in the nation. Now it is one of the poorest. Only one mill continues in Plumas. The school districts were the best in the nation. NOT NOW.   They are attempting to forge ahead in Siskiyou County, CA and Grant County, OR as you have seen in our series on Defending Rural America.

Radical environmentalists truly want us back in the dark ages. They don’t want homes built, cars running, planes flying or anything that uses energy or other natural resources. Lunacy has set in. If we could transport these people back in time about 60 years, they would be laughed out of their neighborhoods. In their opinion, God’s pinnacle of creation, the human being, should not exist or thrive. They do NOT want you, your children or grandchildren to thrive. They do not want you to use the abundant resources that God has given our nation. It is diabolical, evil, godless, and inhumane to place lower life forms over those made in God’s image.

There will be a price to pay one day. I for one will be looking forward to the shocked looked on their faces when confronted in judgment for their lack of compassion, on the human race, by the very Sovereign who created them.

God mandated that MAN was to “….rule OVER the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” (Genesis 1:28) HE did not say to be subservient to them. In Romans 1:25 it states: “For they exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.” Worshipping nature, known as Gaia, is the LIE. In verse 28 it says “God gave them over to a depraved mind” when they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer. Depravity is symptomatic in bowing to a fish, to an owl, to a lizard. Visualize that. When the smiley face is removed from the radical environmental tactics it ends in depravity, and death. Killing people and their land is depraved.

This isn’t just a political battle, this is a spiritual battle that is entrenched in our country and around the globe.

Nobody Here Is Wearing A Wig

This is a short interlude in our Defend Rural America series.

Years ago, OK let’s be honest, decades ago my husband and I traveled to Northern California on vacation.  We stopped to visit friends we’ve known since high school.  We decided to go out for dinner.  It was easier on our host and made dinner more relaxing for our short overnight visit.   After dinner our host was not feeling well.  The closest place to take care of what was later diagnosed as food poisoning was the home of their sister and brother-in-law. We visited in the usual manner, catching up after years not communicating much.  Out of the blue, Cara, the eight-year-old daughter of our friends announced, “Nobody here is wearing a wig.”   Their sister and brother-in-law tilted their heads with quizzical looks on their faces as we and our hostess burst into laughter.

As I was preparing for dinner, I refreshed my makeup and put on my wig.   Cara watched as a child does when daddy is shaving.  She looked at me and scanned her mouth with her fingers as if she was zipping it. MUMS the word!  I love the thought processes of a guileless child.

WHY this scenario?

President Barack Obama during this speech at the G20 Summit in France today made a statement that would confound Cara , now a mother of three.  His answer to an AP reporter concerning the stock market and our economy back home was, “There’s no crisis, much of it is psychological.”      TELL THAT TO MY WALLET MR. PRESIDENT.

You and I have recently seen our gasoline and food prices begin to skyrocket.  In my town today a 40z jar of Peanut Butter  was $9.59.  It is a staple for lower-income families to help feed their families and considered one of the top ten items you must have in your cupboard in case of emergencies.  Emergency food, and survival experts say it is a must.   Inflation statistics by our government does NOT include food or gasoline prices.   SO HEY, NOBODY HERE IS WEARING A WIG.  Unemployment figures, psychological; more regulations, psychological; crony capitalism, psychological, Corzine and $700 million missing, psychological.    YEP!  NOBODY HERE IS WEARING WIG!

The average citizen, buying food, traveling to work or the doctor knows the truth just as Cara did.  Anyone knowing me well, knew it was a wig.  It was a facade as is our inflation numbers and the smoke screen Mr. Obama tries to foist upon the citizens who know the truth.  It’s time, like Cara, to blow the cover of the facades and call it for what it is.  A LIE.   Spin is such a nice word.  I’m surprised it wasn’t used in the first garden when Eve encountered the Father of Lies, Lucifer himself.   You know the guy that Saul Alinksky dedicated his book to.

The world is on fire economically, but hey it’s mostly psychological.  Just put your wig back on and continue in what is known as normalcy bias.   We want to continue to think that all is well or will be.  That is normalcy bias.   Like my husband says, it’s time for us to “face the music”.  In other words “BS time is over.”   Somebody here IS wearing a wig and we know who it is.  Those in congress, the white house, political parties, and media pundits are all wearing wigs.  NOTHING TO SEE HERE.  DEFLECT the truth.

My suspicion, the Herman Cain issue a WIG?
